Thanks to the signing of the new framework contract, the sellers receive from the Allegro a network of 3700 pick-up points managed by RUCH S.A. The network enables the dispatch and pick-up through ’Paczka w Ruchu’ service.

Allegro together with RUCH S.A. provides prices much lower than small and medium-sized sellers would be able to obtain individually on the market. The prices of parcels serviced by ‘Paczka w Ruchu’ negotiated by Allegro start from PLN 6.69 gross.

– Deliveries to Pick-Up points are an increasingly popular form of delivery at Allegro. Customers are eagerly using this method of delivery due to increase in accessibility of the points, convenience of pick up within a few days of delivery, and price. Deliveries to Pick-Up points are 25% -40% cheaper than courier shipments “to the door”. We see that nearly 45% of offers on our platform already allow one of the forms of pick up at a point, not including Easypacks (Paczkomaty). Between 2018 and 2017, however, we noticed an increase of the number of parcels sent to the Pick-Up points by almost 80%. This is in line with the trend observed in Europe, where the popularity of pickups is rapidly increasing. – says Grzegorz Czapski, a member of the Allegro management team responsible for business development. – Small and medium-sized resellers are not able to negotiate better terms than those we offer under the contracts we have just concluded. In this way, we try to eliminate barriers to the development of e-commerce in Poland – we provide wide access to the largest network of pick up points of this type in Poland, as well as lower prices, making shopping on the web more accessible – adds Grzegorz Czapski.

Shipments within the Allegro network and ‘Paczka w RUCHu’ will be available to all entrepreneurs operating at Allegro, who will sign a contract with the carrier on the terms negotiated by Allegro. Customers will be able to use such service by selecting it from the options offered by the seller.
